Pine Oaks Land & Timber buys tracts of timber throughout Northeast MS and Northwest AL. We contract with several certified SFI and Professional Logging Manager logging crews that are skilled in various types of timber harvesting. We are a small company with low overhead and offer top dollar per acre and quality work in the following areas:

We’ll ensure your harvest is safe for the logging crew, smoothly executed and compliant with environmental regulations. A written logging plan with detailed maps of the tract ensures the harvesting contractor understands the desired end result of forester and landowner.
THINNING
We remove less desirable, diseased and suppressed trees to promote healthy growth and higher yields. Our thinning contractors are top notch. We can suggest a thinning regime or adapt to your desired results for spacing density.
TOTAL HARVEST
Properly-engineered total harvest prepares the land for reforestation practices. Savvy marketing and utilization of the timber stand results in a cleaner harvest with lower costs to regenerate your next forest.
